They had some great party food laid out! What a fun group to do a party with.

Honestly at this point, the show is in full swing and I have no idea where my children have wandered off to in the BCC. They are not too naughty so I don't worry too much. Sily children.
They had such a fun night... there were lots of kids their age there and lots of food to snake endlessly on. And a grandmother and Grandfather, and Aunty... and all our friends grabbing them and wrestling and so on and so forth.
Bo and Spencer at the show.
This show BTW was one I have been planning for the last few months. It was a reader appreciation party at the Bartlesville Community Center. It was alot of fun... mostly because it was an all ages event and a concert with 3 bands, and I had food catered and a decorator. Some workers shall remain nameless in this blog, but they stayed all night instead of a few hours and got smashed and even got up on stage with Randy at the end of the night and did a song with him. Not what we expected from such a "hoity toity" crew. Another big part of the fun was getting Kenyons good friend Spencer up on stage to do a song with the whole band. He tried to get out of it by not bringing a guitar, but I asked Randy if he could use his and if you know Randy, you know the awnser, he was honored to let him.
Spencer got up and did a really good job and showed that he is on his way to a career in music. There is going to be no excuse for a desk job for this kid. He needs to be out on the road playing.
My mom and John, came and helped set up and we had all three kids plus Katy and Aunty M came bringing cousins. Add to that the fact that I hired friends to run the bar and door and most of my friends attended the event, I am sure you understand that it was a great time.

Christmas Eve Morning

Christmas Eve morning the kids snuck into our room to wake Donnie. Normally he doesn't wake up very fast and this morning was no exception. However the singing, the stocking plopped in his face and all three kids bouncing and giggling got him out of bed quicker than normal.
I love this picture, you can really see how much the kids love their step-daddy, and of course how very much he loves them.
After Santa visited with us, I called my neighbor Denise across the street and told her to have Tristan awnser the door.... Imagine his suprise when he opened it and it was Santa with a candy cane for him!
In shock he ran and hid in his bedroom for a minute and then he came out to pose by the tree. It was the cutest thing I had seen in a long time, and lots of fun for us to watch.
I hope everyone had as good a Christmas holiday as we did.
