Snow Day
Snow days mean that everyone likes to stay in near the heater and then they are underfoot and in the way all day...It seems that everywhere I turn a cat is perched on it or a dog is looking in it. Here are a few common sights in my home on days like this.
The girls wondering if I am going to drop something good for them.

Confined to the inside of the house with 4 other cats, Mouse takes desperate measures for new territory to explore.

Bunny Boo got kicked out of the heated doghouse this morning by Walter, who now has it all to himself. Enjoy it jerk, your sister is in the house carrying stuffed animals around!

The Wang Foo

Joe Baxter (the other half of Tainted Twang) brought the Wang Foo out to the Sisterhood this last weekend. He said "I'm not playing this thing all night long, you girls are gonna have to figure it out". Thanks to Telluride David and his crash course on playing the stand up in open D, we did. Lee excelled at her endeavours and I stopped to call Donnie and demand he gets one, not just for him, but me as well. Now I have drug my fiddle back out and started playing again. I know that I need to be ready so the next time I meet up with The Foo, things will be easier, but I really had to think about the fact that I have a beautiful fiddle that I am not playing and I should be glad to have it and get moving. I know I don't want to concentrate on the drum all the time, the Bluegrass Djembe can be an awkward thing to learn... and a fiddle sure fits in nice. Who knows, maybe by the time I'm 40 Jimmie will let me up onstage with him....
