Track Meet Rescue

This morning I spent 3 hours at the dentist and I was worn out, I just walked in the door and one of the kids called... He needed a lunch, shorts, and something to drink... he was at the track meet that had been rescheduled after it rained the other day... So I turn off the frying bacon and head off to take care of him.... I grab my camera and everything he needs and head out there. The entire left side of my face is numb. I can't speak clearly and my face is swollen and I go out to the stadium in front of his school looking like something the cat drug in.... So, I go find him and he changes and eats lunch and I got to watch him compete in the races.... We had alot of fun and I enjoyed getting to hang out with a few of his school friends I hadn't met yet...He was pretty cool about me looking so bad, I figured he would be embarrased, but he held my hand when we walked in front of the whole school and around the the bathrooms...So I guess he didn't mind.......
So tonight the dog gets the bacon as a snack....
