My pink tree

I caught this tree on sale at the end of the season last year and planted it in front of Kenyons window. I think as long as trees are being planted in a neighborhood there is hope for it... and I noticed alot of trees planted last year. I chose this tree because it was fast growing, would fit in the spot I had for it and it would shade that side of the front of the house fairly soon. Those are all good reasons too, right? Now, do you want to hear the real reason I chose this tree? The pink blooms the tag promised. I watched this baby all winter and made sure to take good care of it. I have whispered to it, hugged it (very carefully) and made sure no one dings it with the mower. Now, my reward!
